How can UX data help you better understand how your product is used in the real world?
Exponent's human factors team designs usability tests with a mixed-methods approach, including psychophysiological recordings, eye-tracking, cognitive walk-throughs, heuristic evaluations, and focus groups at our Centers for Scientific User Research (CSUR) labs.
Whether you're recording biometric data and eye tracking during computer interface interactions or recording human interactions with medical devices, our testing labs can accommodate your requirements. Each of the CSUR labs is equipped with highly flexible multimedia research systems that permit you to work locally or securely stream study views to an offsite location.
Exponent's usability research process begins by defining our client's specific study program and deliverables; followed by defining immediate needs, whether business, design, or engineering; and finally applying findings to optimize user experience. Next, we conduct design and A/B testing, as well as focus groups to gather additional usability data. And once data collection is complete, design and engineering teams can study results confidentially in our designated client rooms.
With more than 6,000 square feet of adaptable lab space and innovative technology in our research center, collaborating with Exponent's expert team helps you address usability, safety, and business questions across the full product lifecycle.
