Ms. Evins has over ten years of experience in the project management, design and construction of energy-efficient facilities and utility infrastructure projects. With experience working at design-build and consulting firms, she has been involved in all phases of construction projects including planning, cost and change control, CPM scheduling, engineering design, permitting, procurement, bid and award, contract management and execution, and project closeout.
Ms. Evins has advised clients on topics ranging from advance building systems, construction management best practices, code compliance, project controls, and life-cycle cost analysis.
As an Exponent consultant, Ms. Evins has provided project management and project control services to large utility clients. In this role as project manager, she has been responsible for developing and leading the complete project lifecycle for electric transmission relocation projects, as well as interconnection projects for new solar energy generation facilities. She has experience in maintaining quality and cost control by collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and establishing robust project resource-loaded schedules.
Additionally, Ms. Evins has provided data management and analysis support for construction disputes related to delay claims. She has assisted in the evaluation of as-planned and as-built project schedules, critical path activities, and contemporaneous records.
Prior to joining Exponent, Ms. Evins' diverse construction project experiences included large-scale municipal LED street lighting, net-zero energy buildings, emerging technologies and advanced building systems research for the US Department of Energy, and building and energy code measurement and verification.
