Nathan is a regulatory toxicologist involved with the development of documents to support plant protection product and biocide registrations in Europe (including other regions) and providing technical scientific and regulatory advice. He has developed experience in genetic toxicology, endocrine disruption, and using computational prediction models (Leadscope, Derek Nexus, QSAR Toolbox, and VEGA) for metabolite and impurity assessment.
Prior to this, Nathan had a Toxicology PhD scholarship funded by UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and in affiliation with St George's University. His research investigated the carcinogenic risk following inhalation of aerosols generated from e-cigarettes. During his PhD, Nathan gained experience with in vitro and in vivo study design, and method development and validation using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography coupled with Mass Spectrometry. Nathan also gained an MSc distinction in Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology, and a BSc in Human Physiology.
