Ms. Fraser holds a B.Sc. Honours in Biological Sciences and has gained over 20 years experience working in regulatory consultancy and contract research. She has a strong background in project management and her regulatory knowledge is supported by experience as a Study Director performing analytical chemistry for plant protection product and animal health product development.
Ms. Fraser is extensively involved in the preparation and submission of biocidal active substance dossiers and product dossiers including biocidal product family dossiers for the Biocidal Products Directive/Regulation. These registration activities have involved the evaluation of toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate, efficacy, analytical and product chemistry data as well as performance of exposure and risk assessment using various models. Ms. Fraser has also been actively involved in the preparation and submission of dossiers for the REACH Regulation and Plant Protection Products Regulation. These activities have provided Ms Fraser with extensive experience of liaison with competent authorities and also task force management. In addition, Ms. Fraser has contributed to successful biocide national registrations within and outside the EU. Ms. Fraser's experience also includes study monitoring, technical equivalence assessment, classification and labelling, and preparation of safety data sheets.
Prior to her regulatory career, Ms. Fraser provided analytical support for a diverse range of regulatory studies, comprising of field residue trials, soil dissipation/accumulation studies, ecotoxicology studies and environmental fate studies. Ms. Fraser has also been involved in the conduct of operator exposure studies and has been responsible for the conduct of residue depletion studies in various common livestock species. Ms. Fraser's experience of analytical techniques includes GC, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS and LC-MS/MS. As a study director for 7 years Ms. Fraser is an experienced project manager.
