Pinkrah Boafo's engineering and consulting experience spans across the construction, health and manufacturing industries in and outside of the United States. He has experience working on construction projects as a project manager and a quality control engineer.

Prior to joining Exponent, Pinkrah worked as a quality control and assurance engineer. His responsibilities included leading and coordinating quality inspections, ensuring construction compliance for the 1.5 Km quay wall construction, scheduling and supervising concrete production and concrete precast works, and coordinating and supervising sub-contractors. He also worked as a project manager in the real estate development industry in Ghana where he led several projects and served as the property manager of the firm.

Pinkrah Boafo earned a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University where he majored in Engineering Management. He also holds a master's degree from Hohai University in Nanjing where he specialized in Engineering Mechanics with research focus in structural strengthening using fiber reinforced plastics. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering with research focus on civil engineering construction materials.
