Mr. Kumar offers expertise in spearheading large-scale, multi-site and decentralized clinical trials and studies, having operated on the research side of numerous projects within the field of rheumatology. Trained and certified in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for clinical investigations on medical devices, he has experience in conceptualizing and executing human participant research studies for wearable technologies and pharmaceuticals. Within this space, he specializes in clinical data management, program development, data collection, administrative support, and process improvement.
Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Kumar worked as a Program Coordinator for the National Studies on Air Pollution & Health (NSAPH), providing administrative and data management support to a diverse research group that broadly leverages biostatistics and data science methodologies to examine the effects of environmental exposures on health outcomes. He has also published research on a diverse array of medical and public health fields including population health, digital health, as well as learning and memory neuroscience. He earned his MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2023, specializing in health policy.
