Dr. Rick Reiss, group vice president, published an article in Bloomberg BNA's Daily Environment Report. The article entitled "Epidemiology and Its Place in Risk Assessment" reviews the EPA's reliance on epidemiology in pesticide assessments and the pros and cons of this policy from a risk assessment point of view. Dr. Reiss explores the challenges and opportunities inherent in animal toxicology studies versus epidemiological approaches.
