The freshman Medical Class of 2019 voted to present Dr. John DeSesso with the Golden Apple Award as Teacher of the Year for his efforts in teaching Medical Embryology and Gross Anatomy. He was cited for exceptional qualities as a role model and educator, including his enthusiasm, lucidity, responsiveness, patience, and compassionate attitude.
This is his fifth time receiving this award.
