Dr. Jason Hertzberg Elected as Chairperson of University of Michigan External Advisory Board

Dr. Jason Hertzberg, Corporate Vice President and Practice Director for the Mechanical Engineering practice, has recently been elected as the Chairperson of the University of Michigan Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) External Advisory Board. The mission of the External Advisory Board (EAB) is to enhance MSE department's position as a premier research and higher education program by advising the MSE Chair on matters such as strategic planning, curriculum feedback, alumni engagement, talent acquisition and retention, and enhancing diversity, equity and inclusion in engineering, etc.

The University of Michigan's Materials Science Department is currently ranked in the Top 5 in the United States and the College of Engineering is one of the premier engineering schools in the country. Eight academic departments in the College of Engineering are ranked in the nation's Top 10, and its alumni base of approximately 80,000 spans the globe.
