On Thursday, May 16, 2019, Exponent president and CEO, Dr. Catherine Ford Corrigan, was named a 2019 Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal (SVBJ).
The SVBJ Women of Influence award recognizes women who are leaders in the public or private sector with strong records of innovation in their fields, outstanding performance in their businesses, and meaningful community involvement. SVBJ Women of Influence have blazed trails through Silicon Valley for others to follow. Elected by a board of judges consisting of the SVBJ editorial staff and previous award recipients, Dr. Corrigan was one of 100 nominees whose personal story charts her path to success and highlights obstacles overcome in becoming a Woman of Influence.
An award ceremony was held on May 16, 2019, to honor and celebrate the 100 most influential women in Silicon Valley.
