While innovation in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems (ADS) accelerates, automakers must continue to adapt to evolving regulations. Since Congress enacted the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law two years ago, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued multiple Notices of Proposed Rule Making, initiated research in support of future regulatory actions, and moved forward with required updates to the New Car Assessment Program.

Don't miss Exponent Human Factors Senior Managing Scientist Chris Monk, Ph.D., present on the shifting landscape of ADAS and ADS regulations and how automotive manufacturers can prepare for future regulatory actions at the 2023 ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo in Santa Clara, California.
